OutlinedButton explained for Android Developers

Outlined buttons are medium-emphasis buttons. They contain actions that are important, but they aren’t the primary action in an app. An outlined button is a label displayed on a (zero elevation) Material widget. For Android developers, this is similar to using a Button with a specific style in XML or programmatically setting the background to transparent with a border, allowing for a clear distinction without overwhelming the user interface.

Example Code

Here is an example of how to use OutlinedButton:

const OutlinedButton(
onPressed: () {},
child: Text('Outlined Button'),
);

OutlinedButton Remarks

To specify an outlined button’s shape and the appearance of its outline, both the ButtonStyle.shape and ButtonStyle.side properties must be specified.
